RUNWAY REPORT: La Perla Fall 201

As girl-power anthems blasted through the speakers, bombshell after bombshell strutted the runway during the La Perla’s debut at NYFW.

Aromatic moss, ivy and overgrown blooms cascaded throughout the windows of the six-room, two-story “La Perla Manor,” where models posed and lounged on couches before walking, one by one, down a grassy runway.

A mix of corseted stretch suiting and sexy negligee slips decked out in florals, embroidery and lace dominated the collection.

Black, White, Nude and Golds were the most prominent colors, although strong injections of cobalt blue, fiery reds were also showcased.

A couple of plaid prints were also apparent reminding us of the Nineties cult film, “Clueless.”

All in all, La Perla provided us a beautiful array of feminine silhouettes with Kendall Jenner closing the show in a gold metallic sheer gown that left little to the imagination.
